Somehow "inspiring" sounds a lot less alarmist or SJW. The entire term cultural appropriation is silly.

The thing is, the phrase itself is perfectly fine and functionally appropriate. The real problem comes from the context it's generally used it, and by the repugnant sort of people who use it.

I don't see any merits to the phrase, especially considering that it's racist and misguided. A lot of so-called appropriators understand the culture better than its alleged participants. As such, there's probably a better way of conveying the main complaint (ie, the treatment of the cultural idea or practice)

tbh, one of the major spoilers came ages ago although I had already suspected that at least one dragon would be killed by the walkers and reanimated

I figured that at least one of them would die, but I didn't expect it to happen the way that it did.

TBH in general, I don't care that much about spoilers. I try to avoid them if I can, but the journey is more important to me. However, when I see someone who is obviously trying to ruin things for other people, I can't help but think they're an asshole.

My basic assumption was that, no matter what, we'd *have* to see an ice dragon, whether it was a reanimated Dany dragon or another long-dead one, because the concept is too cool to ignore and it makes for a more dramatic confrontation.

Consoles. Need. Games.

This rule should be absolute in gaming. It's why I shake my head whenever people buy a system before a library is actually out for it. *Glares at the Switch*

tbh, I usually don't buy at release but it's more that I suspect the hardware is better later on and the price usually drops as well. I think the *closest* I may have bought a console towards its release date was the Wii which might have been within the first 5 months of release.

Not sure how much I factor in the library unless it's already stopped producing games.

not bad. I'm surprised Jessica Jones wasn't the weakest link. its still Danny.

They couldn't have the woman being the weakest link, that's counter-progressive =p

Damn it, I keep coming in here to talk about how Nintendo screwed up the SNES Classic Edition preorders.

Those idiots did preorders in the middle of the night, with no warning, and it was just a mess.

For example, Best Buy said that they didn't have stores within a 250 mile radius of anywhere. How in the hell is that possible when if you walk a block in any direction you run into a bloody Beat Buy?

Also, once again there weren't enough preorders available for the regular people and the scalpers too.

Is it really that hard to limit preorders to one per email or one per ISP? Anyway, another mess.

Was that really Nintendo's fault and not the retailers?
