Or are you exaggerating for the sake of building an argument that's not actually valid? I definitely was swinging properly and it wasn't THAT common, but it still was an issue at some points. Never died to them, but there are obviously times I took damage because I swung the remote diagonally and the game decided to believe I swung horizontally or vertically. Or attempting to stab and the thing failed. Sort of things. Was it broken? I dunno. Maybe all my Motion Plus stuff came broken because I saw similar issues in some swinging motions in Wii Sports Resort, but was fine with balance and some other things.
