Is it really? Realistically speaking, you could play most of those games for free using emulators, or buying the ones you want in the Nintendo VC store on whatever console you have (assuming you have one). Likely with better controllers.

I seem to recall that not that long ago you railed against piracy >_>

At best, that's only about 25-30% of the games on there. Which really isn't much of a passing grade, let alone enough to justify a $80 price tag (and the hassle you'll probably have to go through to get one even beyond the price). I can't really justify a $10-$15 price tag per worthwhile game when those games are about 25 years old (and can mostly be played on other platforms, ports, or whathaveyou anyway).

tbh, the hassle is the largest sticking point for me.

I made a topic about it, but I want to see what my fellow Geeks think.

A thermostat has a switch that can be set to Summer or Winter. You want to make it colder in the room. Which setting do you turn it to?

Note, this isn't supposed to be a trick question, just say which one you'd do, and why.

Kinda depends on the meter. A summer setting might mean AC or it might be an exaggerated way of suggesting a certain level of consistent heat.
