Finally got around to seeing Wonder Woman, i thought it was pretty good.

also saw the new Transformers movie and as i'd been warned it really is a trash fire. its as if the movie has no idea what it wanted to be. is it an Arthurian tale? is it Disaster Porn? is it the DaVinci code? is it Harry Potter? i could nitpick it to death if i wanted, but its as if they reached into a filing cabinet, grabbed 3 or 4 random scripts from the mid-tier-maybe we might make these someday drawer, then shuffled all of the scripts like playing cards, pulled every 3rd or 4th page out of the stack, and threw it on Bay's desk and said, "here, make this but also make it a Transformers movie too!". i can't tell if this was a glaring misfire of executive meddling combined with focus testing jumbalaya, and i certainly don't understand how anyone watched the final cut and said, "yup! lets go with this!". I'm not even sure if half the Transformers in this one weren't made up on the spot as they went. this is a mess even when compared to other Michael Bay films. this might even be a mess compared to an Uwe Boll film.
