I'm legitimately surprised the U.S. hasn't seen any terror attacks since...I think November? Makes me wonder why the UK and France are getting more atm.

Like him or not (which I am guessing not), Trump being in office is a huge deterrent to a lot of terror attacks because no one knows what the fuck he will do. I am willing to bet a lot of people in ISIS think that if they push the US too far it will be Hiroshima and Nagasaki all over again.

The only person willing to push his buttons is North Korea, and lets face it, they are run by a sociopath. Everybody else doesn't want to do anything. That is almost completely unheard of whenever a new President comes into power. Typically everyone wants to push the limits to see what they can get away with.

Trump has fuck all to do with it. It's really just the sheer geographic separation. Europe gets way more islamic terror attacks than the U.S. does, both currently and 10 years ago or however far back you want to go.

But I'll humor you. What were the onslaught of terror attacks that occurred in the first half year of 2009, to "test" Obama?
Terror attacks by an actual organization don't just get thought up one night and then carried out. Any time one happens or is attempted, you find out the culprit has been taking trips to some middle east country, training for months, was building bombs in his house, etc...

It is not just terror attacks though, it is stuff all over the world. Things like Israel invading the Gaza strip, Madagascar civil war, Iran and their Nuclear program. Notice how things like that aren't really happening.
