Like him or not (which I am guessing not), Trump being in office is a huge deterrent to a lot of terror attacks because no one knows what the fuck he will do. I am willing to bet a lot of people in ISIS think that if they push the US too far it will be Hiroshima and Nagasaki all over again. The only person willing to push his buttons is North Korea, and lets face it, they are run by a sociopath. Everybody else doesn't want to do anything. That is almost completely unheard of whenever a new President comes into power. Typically everyone wants to push the limits to see what they can get away with. --- I am a senior software engineer.
