| Topic | Can any sci fi readers help me find/identify this book? |

The main characters travel all over the place with the dead alien (I think he communicates with them telepathically). It's been like 20 years since I read it I think. It predates the band Zed is Dead, and even Pulp Fiction (which had a zed), along with a childrens book series about an alien named Zed. Problem is, all those new zeds and Zed is Deads, make it impossible to find the book through google search. I used to remember every book I ever read, but that ship sailed a decade ago. Hopefully someone with a better memory then me (now), can still remember this book and help me identify it.
