Almost all leftists are now saying the same thing. Is this good enough for you?

Except 538 noted that it wasn't actually remarkable and, in addition to the debates, there were several forums where both candidates appeared:
https://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/is-six-democratic-debates-too-few/

In general, when you only have TWO primary candidates remaining, it's silly to do tons of extra debates but, at the same time, I would have loved to have seen additional general election debates where, just like most years, we only got 3 presidential debates.

Plus it should be noted that your source seems to claim more about the *placement* of the debates than the quantity. While your source does make a mention or two towards quantity, it relates it to the highly anomalous 2008 which was the first time since 1988 that over 20 primary debates were held and, in general, 2008 had the most that were held in at least 30 years.

Nor is there any indication that additional debates would have made any difference because, again, it was really just down to 2 candidates for most of them. Jim Webb dropped out after the first one -- where he had no talking time -- and Chafee soon followed. Keep in mind that the Republicans consistently had more than six candidates for almost the entire debate season and they only held NINE debates. The Dems' 6 debate season being too small is a convenient fiction cooked up by Sanders supporters.

Bullshit. When Bernie can get more votes in a primary but lose the state in delegate counts because all the super delegates go immediately for the establishment? You are naive as hell if you think its for "quality control"

Overlooking that it's the definition of quality control, Hillary won WITHOUT the supderdelegates so your entire argument is moot.

If you actually read my post, youd know that i also referenced that the 1970s was a period of cultural stagnation. Cultural stagnation is a product of a shitty economic climate. Which we've been in since 07/08. The 1970s was also a period of a bad economy. Before the financial collapse the mid 70s was the worst period for the US economy post WW2....

Seriously dude, your pick apart post attempts are awful

And again, that term you made up on the spot is flat-out wrong for the reasons I already spelled out. You've apparently conflated economic stagnation with cultural stagnation and, if you're going to blame economic stagnation for cultural stagnation -- which would be completely stupid and hold no basis in reality -- then you should just be referencing economic stagnation and cutting out the middle man.
