I wanted to watch a 1-cour show in the meanwhile, since the second season is another 25+ episodes. That 1-cour show being Humanity Has Declined. I was surprisingly impressed by the first episode. It seems to be grounded to science-fiction/fantasy conventions, but the presentation is comedic from it's light but serious tone.
