CT beat SMB3, which is an incredibly big win, but...the only other things on that schedule that remotely appear to resemble quality wins are Wind Waker and Symphony of the Night, the latter of which is 4-4. Er...wait, Mother 3 is 6-2 as well? I didn't realize...hmm. Well, I still think it needs more quality opponents, especially seeing how Uncharted 1 is currently alone in 5th place in the Smash Trigger Conference with a 3-5 record. That's...really pathetic. Most conferences have a tie for 1st place or the second-place game is just 1 back. Chrono Trigger has a 3-game lead just 8 weeks into the season. It's like, I'm not even sure who you could compare that to, a game being that good in a conference that bad.
...Why does this even matter? Chrono Trigger hasn't played a single conference game yet. You're not rewarding R/B/Y or PW1 for being in the hardest conference even though they haven't played anyone in it yet, are you?

And it's not like CT/Mario 3 was even a close match to begin with. CT won that one easily. I just think it's weird that people are willing to completely discount DIRECT MATCH RESULTS in favor of "resumes." By voting Mario 3 > CT, you're basically saying you think Mario 3 would win a rematch. Why? Because it's faced tougher games since CT stomped it?

No, what I meant was that it needs to get more quality opponents now, because it won't be getting them once conference play starts.
