Well everyone's free to voice their opinion on whether votes and especially arguments correspond to reality. I'm not saying you can't continue voting CT below #1; as a CT fanboy, I'm typically going to defend it. It is a bit off-putting how you have projected ballots where CT is supposed to fall, but there doesn't seem to be anything it can do to go up.

I mean, with me and Brawl, I was quite ready to rank it if it beat a legitimate top 25 game. And when it finally ran into one, it lost, so I didn't have to rank it.


Yeah, well, same here. I had Chrono Trigger up at #2 ever since it beat SMB3 back in Week 5 (I think), which was a pretty quick ascension given that it wasn't even on my preseason ballot. (That wasn't a protest, by the way; I legitimately had no idea that Chrono Trigger would be such a beast, and as soon as I saw how high it was ranked in the preseason I moved it onto my Week 1 ballot even though I figured that its Week 1 opponent was probably not very good.)
