FF3 was not messed up that bad on the DS. Yeah the pacing of battles is slower but it's still faster than all the PS1 games so I don't see the big issue. The 3 enemy thing I didn't really mind.
In exchange for slightly slower story you get prettier graphics, actual characters, and a slightly better story out of the deal. So whatever.
