I ripped a pair of board shorts this year I had been wearing since 2009 tbh, I had a pair of jeans rip a few years ago, which was the first time I'd ever had a pair of jeans rip. I thought they lasted forever. captpackrat posted... When you walk as much as I do you tend to wear out shoes pretty quickly, so I don't have any shoes that last over 3 years (except dress shoes which I wear like once a year at most). The boots I wear to work and around town I bought in September of last year. The Western boots I wear around the barn are almost 2 years old, but the soles are pretty well worn. Overlooking that you can re-sole shoes and there are professionals who offer those services, you can also rotate your shoes.
