Milk chocolate is generally more milk and sugar than chocolate, and tastes accordingly. Chocolate does need some sweetening to be palatable (pure cocoa solids taste like dirt), but taking it as far as milk chocolate does means you aren't really tasting the chocolate so much as you're treating the chocolate as a flavouring. --- This is my signature.
