The show is almost refreshing in the way the characters realize that the right thing to do is to fuck the political hierarchy, become anarchist partisans and do guerilla warfare, because the skeksis themselves don't give a shit about politics beyond their own privilege to do whatever they want, and they invented the political divisions of the main characters in order to suit themselves.
