Like fighting games are such a great medium for enabling a mesh of simple dumb plots where all the characters coexist in their own limited ways and it's fun. But Smash said "nah I'm gonna do my own style" and the style just wasn't very good. Just a bunch of mildly amusing fanservice scenes. --- No problem!
