For this one, I wanted to try technique called Object Source Lighting (OSL). The idea is, if a character is holding a lantern or some kind of light source, you can paint the mini such that it looks like the light is on the character. For the Spellweaver, since I painted her with a cool ice ball in one hand and a fireball in the other, I wanted to try painting her in a way that made it look like each side had the proper cool/hot light on her. The end result is pretty decent I say. Probably overdid it on the lighting, you lose a bit of the mini's details I think.
