Topic	Suppose you're in a situation where buying new clothes is cheaper than washing

Given that more electricity and water goes into producing a given article of clothing in the first place than is needed to wash it (especially considering that you can fit significantly more than one piece of clothing in a load), the idea of it costing more to wash it than buy a new one isn't very plausible. --- This is my signature.
