There's little reason to make a distinction between location or strain (oral vs genital). Many people have a single outbreak and never do again. You can readily get a prescription for valacyclovir from your GP or from a visit to urgent care if you want, if you end up feeling like you're having an outbreak, either orally or on the genitals. --- Take me for what I am -- who I was meant to be.
