There is no actual on screen gore, any gore is implied or covered up, but I don't really remember there being any, outside of one or two times. If you start watching it, you do need to watch Exodus when you get there and then the Beyond which is the new series, even if you have to watch it in a less preferred way, but sometimes you have no choice.
