Most recent example would be Breath of the Wild -- I found it so annoying for me to play with its tissue paper weaponry breaking every 1-2 fights, and not knowing how difficult it wanted to be (mainly enemies that were either "cannon fodder" tier or "will drop you to 0-1 HP in one hit" tier), that I bailed on it not long after the "tutorial"

I honestly don't understand what makes the game so acclaimed; to me it's a prime example of a video game that seemingly forgot that its primary purpose is to be fun.
