Within the confines of the art style, I think Katrina is pretty hot, TBH. Maybe a bit less so during the endgame content after you've had the dungeon scene, but she was the first game character who acted interested in Video-Game-Me, so I've always had a soft spot for her.

Can't deny the other remarks. Judging from her character growth during the game, I feel as if she would be a better girlfriend than they indicate, considering her defining attribute is her attempt to escape her own loneliness in a world that cannot accept her due to what she is. She does, after all, sacrifice herself, throwing herself in the way of a spell Ad Avis aims at you, in order to protect you. There's no question she cares for the PC, and the only real question is if she'd be the clingy, smothering type or if she could learn to be a complete person in a codependent relationship. Either way, she'd surely give up her whole plan to doom the world for purely selfish motives, and we'd have to hope she'd be doing it for the right reasons. Or maybe that's expecting too much.
