Individuals from the G8... well, G7 now are never taken to task for the things they do, despite the fact that America's drone program has claimed far more innocent lives than most third-world warlords. We also only happen to learn of the most egregious wrongful uses of force, like the strike that killed an entire wedding procession. The day-to-day operation largely flies under the radar.
