Topic	Why do people like to play games with WASD?

See if I was playing something competitively like, say, counterstrike and I used a controller that would be dumb as fuck because movement wise WASD is superior. But feeling wise? In an open world game or a fun game that I'm playing single player (or even co op) where I'm exploring or going through a story? Why the fuck would I use WASD? Imagine playing any of the games that I listed with wasd. That's crazy to me. Like.. Thinking about playing Resident Evil 4 for example, without a controller, sounds God awful. Clicking a mouse to shoot a gun in a game like Resident Evil, versus pressing R2 or RT sounds awful in comparison. Better aim is with a mouse but I also have better aim when I aim with my head in VR and it makes games too easy. Namely Resident Evil VII became super easy to aim with superior aim.
