I keep saying I'm going to go through the box of magic cards I have from 20 years ago when I played to see if I have anything worth some money but then I realize it will take a ton of time. I have to have at least 1000 cards from some pretty old sets. I can't really remember when I stopped playing but "Ice Age" or "4th edition" sound familiar. All my cards are from that time or before. I got a friend that does sports trading cards and has made a killing this year buying cards getting them graded and then selling them.
