The article states that there was a slowdown with MRI's due to the coronavirus. It's literally in the article. If the hospitals cared more about people like this gentlemen who actually have a terrible illness instead of the people who have a less than 1% chance of dying, then this disaster would not have happened. It's not mutually exclusive. It's a case of bad doctors for sure.
