Would wearing a brace or one of those knee sleeve things help?

It makes sense that it would feel better when you're active, since you're increasing the blood flow and keeping the area warm.

Not the same thing, but I know when I've got sore muscles sometimes the best thing to do is some light exercise using those muscles. Usually seems to help speed up the recovery process.
So, I have the knee brace. And I was using it. And it seemed to help, but I am not sure if it actually helps or if it is just limiting my range of motion. So I took it off a few weeks ago. I could put it back on but the reason I took it off was I was going to take a high heat job in which I couldn't have worn that to so I needed to be used to not having it on. I don't think this jobs physical would be thrilled if I had one on. Maybe they wouldn't care. Idk. But, maybe after the physical I will put it back on.

The other job made me squat multiple times, hold the position, then waddle like a duck. I thought my knee was being stabbed lol
