My first PS2 stopped reading disks entirely after 6-7 years or so, but its replacement is still going strong (aside from a sound issue that I'm about 95% sure is cable related instead of console related but haven't attempted to figure out)

My Switch has an issue where the joycons will sporadically disconnect when I'm playing in handheld mode (And thus the Joycons are physically plugged into the device), but it works perfectly fine if I attach them to the controller-type thing instead so I dunno what's up there. No drift or any other issues though.

My SNES, N64, Wii, PSTV and PS4 were all working perfectly last I tried them, though it's been at least a few years for each of the Nintendo consoles iirc. I can't recall any handheld hardware failures (besides internal batteries on Pokemon games dying) either, and I've owned every generation of Nintendo handheld going back to the GBC

Never owned a Microsoft console though so I can't comment on that LOL
