I have pretty much always believed (after I was a kid) that god split himself up into countless individuals in order to fight boredom, blocking himself off from the experiences of each, so as to make them new each time. To me, it makes the most sense, and is a...for me, viable explanation as to how you could have a god that wasn't a sadistic bastard who allowed people like hitler etc to be born (since he could easily determine what was going to happen (ti's all math but thats another subject), he could easily ensure hitler was stillborn/aborted etc so none of that suffering happened. Honestly, existence HAS to be unpredictable in order for it not to be boring as...well hell lol.
