It's ugly in states like NY and CA where half the population pays taxes only to have no say in where their taxes go because of one or two big cities is all I'm saying. The metropolitan areas call the tune, but if the surrounding areas cut off their supply lines, they couldn't exist period. California's water flows thru many red states. How long could they exist without that water? We already saw the hellscape New York City and it's immediate surroundings turned into 9 meals after hurricane Sandy. We've reached a point where both sides won't give an inch lest they lose a mile. If there is a boogaloo, it's not going to be like the Civil War, it's going to be sieges on the metropolitan areas from it's surrounding counties.
