Stretch goals are kind of a double edged sword, the more stretch goals they hit the longer the game takes to come out assuming they will release the game and all stretch goals together. Worse, they tend to cause games to grow beyond the ability of the developer to complete at all. One of the things that turned Star Citizen into "The Game That Will Never Actually Come Out" was that people kept throwing money at them, so they kept adding new ideas, concepts, play mechanics, and generally expanded their goal far, far beyond their ability to ever successfully produce it. At a certain point, they'd promised far more than they'd ever realistically be able to make, which forces you to hire more people, then you start running out of money and have to go back to the well... --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
