I'm afraid it's going to have a horrible horrible box office, cause nobody is gonna see it. I checked with my local drive in and they are not showing it, and while I'm a fan, I'm not paying the streaming price on release (It's freaking $25 to stream it!!).

I think they are making a HUGE mistake releasing it at $25 tbh, yeah their numbers would be lower if they released it for $12 or so, but you would get alot more people actually streaming it right away, instead of waiting a few months and saving $20.

Ugh, I hope I'm wrong.

I really enjoy the Bill and Ted series and I think even under ideal circumstances this movie would not do well. It's not a series people constantly talk about fondly so you have very few nostalgia dollars, and it's also not considered a tremendously good series of films to get people to give it a chance.

Probably why we didn't see a sequel for nearly 30 years. I do want to point out though that part of why those prices are higher is because multiple people can see it, if you have a family of 4 paying $25 is far more feasible than if you are alone. If they had some way to know exactly how many people were going to watch it then you would likely see more varied pricing, like $25 for a family of 4 $10 for one guy. But unlike a movie theater unless they put cameras in our homes that can monitor us, figuring out how many people are watching it is harder.
