Yeah, that is what I figure, and they are gonna miss out big time because of that. They should have released it straight to stream etc, for normal new streaming prices (6-10$), which is still significantly more than people will have to pay in 3 months.

If they did, I would have rented it, cause who cares about 4-8$ if I get to see something I like right away.

But this way they will get a pittance, places like DVDxpress rent the movies for as little as 25 cents (with a coupon, twice a month), and a max price of $1.50, so they can't really be making ANY profit off those because obviously DVD express is making money as well.

EVen releasing it to stream at $5 a pop would have worked out better for them I bet.
