If Republicans go along with it, they blame Trump for ballooning the deficit. It's transparent as fuck but, because America's voting public is generally idiotic, people will buy it. Eh, if you give it to us, I'm sure it'll trickle down to the rest of you eventually. Indenturing America's future generations to slavery to pay off today's debts, tbh.
