BK was incredibly well designed and original, and offered a notably different experience from SM64 (a focus on exploration and collection over platforming). It's easily on par with SM64, and in some ways is substantially better (though Tooie's even better). In no way is it a "cheap knockoff" any more so than every other mascot platformer collectathon from that era (and there were a lot of those) was. ParadiseRegaind posted... How can you have a poll like this and not include Mario Kart 64? Crazy. Honestly, while it deserves points for nostalgia, it's really hard to go back and play MK64 after all these years. The overall physics just feel so awkward compared to even Double Dash (let alone sequels that refined it even further), and in a racing game, that's pretty crippling. I had no shortage of good times with it back in the day, certainly, but now it doesn't even make the list of games that I'd consider reconnecting my N64 to play. Nightwind posted...
