That's how an innocent man handles these situations. Compare that with Joe's response of, "I'm going to sue you!" Because keep in mind, Joe isn't being accused of a crime. Nobody is saying he raped anyone. It's not like Joe is lawyering up to prevent prosecution. He's lawyering up to win a civil case so he can shut this chick up. At least in theory. I think the truth is there is no lawyer (no lawyer has made any statement and Joe hasn't referred any questions to an attorney.) I think the lawyer stuff is a complete smokescreen because Joe knows he's guilty and there's literally nothing else he can say.
