In berseria I started on the hardest difficulty and moved up whenever I unlocked a new one and never had any issues at all but even just hard in vesperia is so difficult. I guess mainly cause you can't just outskill a fight super hard. You have to take damage and use healing items early on especially so it feels rough. I got too sick to finish my playthrough so I don't know how hard it got. that is because you're comparing it to the most recent tales you played, which happens to also be the easiest in the entire series, and the game being compared has always had a strange difficulty curve. fuck gattuso. i actually found him easier in the DE, though. --- there is blood on my hands how long till it lies on my heart ...
