I'm telling you, while it was a fringe position only really held by the furthest left on the spectrum, the idea that the US's use of military (and psuedo-military like intelligence agency coups) to meddle in other countries to support its own interests amounted to war crimes was a thing there.
Jakyl would self-identify as being far to the left and you yourself are calling him a radical... like this all checks out by your own words? Did he say it in this topic series? Hell if I know, these started up around the 2016 primaries/election and while we range on a decently broad set of US political issues we obviously kind of missed the prime timeframe for commenting/critiquing the Obama administration.
All I've been trying to tell you was that if you looked into what the left talked about (not the mainstream/traditional Democrats, yes) you'd be aware that these arguments and views existed and so the idea that Jakyl held them too shouldn't shock you given your own characterization of him.
I can only conclude that by being unable to see this you never actually tried to look at what the left thought, even if you took a look and personally felt "whoa that's crazy talk yall"
Well, I mean, if I am dealing with an extremely radicalized person then I guess it is what it is.
