Austin-based attorney J.T. Morris, who specializes in First Amendment cases, said the Texas law will face enforcement difficulties as well as legal challenges for being overly broad and vague.

"It reaches things that arguably could cover images related to medical advice or moms sharing information about breastfeeding or their babies' health - things like that which certainly can't be criminalized," Morris said.

Yeah, that's gonna take some ironing out to get the nuance right. I'm reminded of my mother having difficulty doing breastfeeding research at work (she's a doctor who specializes in lactation consulting) because the hospital's filters blocked any instance of the word "breast" as a porn site. That wasn't exactly working as intended.

Honestly, its not hard to not look at a photo. And if they sent nudes you didnt want to see, dont go into the convo anymore.

It's not that difficult to just look away from a flasher. And if they flash you, just don't go to that park anymore.

Sure, you can avoid it, but that doesn't mean it's not an unpleasant experience. Flashing's already illegal, so why not extend that to the digital equivalent?
