Can any comic guru explain why it was special in her case and why something as simple as this lead to her obtaining her powers and being so powerful? In the comics it was the result of an accident involving a Kree superweapon that blew up, and the combination of her hybridized DNA and the explosion yadayadayada super powers that can't be replicated, etc etc. The trailer also makes it look like they boosted her powers to their secondary level (which didn't happen in the comics for like 12 years), as part of their push to market her as THE MOST POWERFUL HERO EVARZ because ladyparts. Why is the movie version so powerful? Ehh. From what we see a Kree blood transfusion is at least part of it, though it's hard to say what else they do to her.
