as for horror characters, I considered Hannibal Lecter

Yeah, I feel like Woody is a kind of strange choice for a Disney/Pixar representative.

Who would you pick? I definitely think Woody is the most iconic Pixar character

Mickey's the most iconic Disney character overall but he's not so much a film character as he is an animated short character. I'd put Stitch, Aladdin and maybe Simba as top Disney characters too. Maybe even Jack Skellington?

He probably is the most iconic Pixar. But I feel like the big four of the Disney Renaissance are the strongest Disney/Pixar movies. I'm not sure which of their characters would be able to contend, though...

I've noticed that we keep gravitating towards villains. Not exclusively, but we all seemed to agree that Vader is the strongest Star Wars character, and most of the Disney movies also seem to be villain-driven.

Do we consider the Winnie-the-Pooh characters "film" or "animated short"? Tigger seems like he'd be strong. (I have to ask because I consider them "literature", but I know that they're more well-known for the Disney adaptation than for the original books.)
