Being social basically just equates to being talkative and open to ideas. There's a distinct difference between being comfortable with social interaction, being uncomfortable with social interaction, being comfortable with but disinterested in social interaction, and being so disconnected from human emotion and social cues that you have to intellectualize every social interaction like an alien pretending to be human.
