So I saw a video on What Culture Gaming that kind of made me think: Basically, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a basic open world game, and the people who like it would probably like ANY open world game. It doesn't do anything amazing in the gameplay realm, it is just an open world western game. If you were to play the original Red Dead Redemption you would have exactly the same experience. So I know I would like it, but that is because I like all open world games as long as they are competently made.

So in summary, get RDR2 if you want a by the numbers open world game, and get Spider Man if you need something with a little more stuff added to the gameplay.
