You've got some issues there....

If I had more issues I'd be down with systemic abuse of animals for convenient food

At least it's not that bad! I'll take being sensitive to the smell of death thanks

lol

High carb=/=exclusively carbs.

A normal diet is already excessively carb focused (what with GDA being based on cheap ration needs in the fucking war), so high carb is severely biased to the point it may as well be exclusive.

It's pretty well accepted that a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet needs some beans and nuts and the like in there to get the required protein/fats.

It's pretty well accepted you shouldn't drink alcohol yet most people do anyway.

Carbs can still make up the bulk of one's calories without completely neglecting other macronutrients.

It does neglect them somewhat though, and carbs are fucking garbage if you're not actively burning them off.

Especially when those carbs are reasonably varied instead of being primarily fructose (sucrose is 50% fructose, HFCS even more so), which messes with the body by bypassing a major insulin-dependent step in carbohydrate metabolism.

Some carbs are better than others but protein is better than all.
