So Susan Collins just came out and said shes not going to vote for any justice that's hostile to choice.

*openly hostile

I hope I'm wrong and she won't vote for anyone who doesn't explicitly say that they will honor precedent, but I'm sure Trump's nominee won't be dumb enough to explicitly admit that they plan to overturn Roe v Wade.

Collins had literally said days before that she wouldn't make Roe v Wade a deciding factor over whether or not she'd confirm. She's also said she doesn't think Gorsuch would overturn Roe so take that as you will.

Trump's list was constructed by a conservative think-tank, right? I don't think there's much doubt as to whether or not any name on the list would overturn Roe. Collins will just look for what passes to her as plausible deniability in this case.

tl;dr: Don't believe her lies. *Memento screenshot*

If Obergefell is overturned, the next person to tell me "TRUMP IS THE MOST PRO LGBT CANDIDATE EVER" is getting punched in the face. I'm not an advocate of violence, but this I will make an exception for.

I actually think Obergefell itself is safe. I don't think Roberts/SCOTUS is willing to wade into the nightmare that would be flying in the face of public opinion as well as the legal disaster of what to do with all the marriages already performed.

That said other LGBT rights? I'd expect them to start eroding.
