| PrivateBiscuit1 05/15/18 2:44:06 PM #30: | Am I the only one who wants a Pokemon game at this point that kind of breaks the mold a bit? Like, get us away from the beat all these gyms and then beat the Elite 4 and stuff. Even if you have progression exactly like you beat x amount of major people to get to a gauntlet fight and then beat somebody at the end, it would do a lot to make the games feel more fresh. I would love to see them revisit Kanto, but have Team Rocket actually have managed to take it over, and you're just a kid who ends up getting a Pokemon while your rival is someone who decides to join up with Team Rocket. Beat people who "rule" each town with a gym leader to try helping liberate the towns instead, and then different stuff happens when you free the towns and you can access different things. I'm thinking a sort of Breath of the Wild kind of change to the series.
