I'm not sure why you are arguing the semantics of the situation instead of the actual situation itself. If you really believe polluting is something bad, then I don't really understand why you care if "the left" believes we are at risk of destroying the planet's climate permanently. Isn't it more important to, you know, work together and cut down on pollution?
