Just went to sign up and saw you have to pay for a year.

Not gonna happen. It's one thing to pay by month if I plan on seeing a movie a month. It's another thing to shell out almost $100 now on the chance I'll watch 20 movies in the next year to break even.

For me it costs as follows to see a movie.

$5 on Tuesdays if I don't mind waiting a few days before watching a movie.

$8 any other day since I watch them before 4pm.

I rarely pay $8, it's gotta be an amazing movie (GoG2 for instance) that I can't wait to watch.

I can't remember the last time I watched more then 2 movies in a month at the theater, and I can certainly remember many months I watched none. I prefer watching at home even with century theaters more comfy seats.

So it's a movie pass for me (heh...as in I pass).
