Mass shootings are a complex social issue. And, like most complex issues, stupid people like to boil the issues down to something they can understand. And, of course, the problem is that most people focus on the gun control side of the equation exclusively despite the fact that the number of mass shootings has only increased as more restrictions have been put in place (partly because you're disarming people who otherwise might have defended themselves).
