Only recently has being gay been ok. Even when I was in highschool, it was still only ok with like people my age or younger, for the most part. But before late high school, anybody who was gay was usually picked on. Even after high school, some people still didn't understand how something like that exist. So, it's a little better these days. But there are still a lot of people who are not ok with it. I don't know what "illegal shit" you think I'm getting it mixed up with.


The problem there is that the bias against it is far weaker than the advantages that come with it.
